Splendid Cannaregio Venice hotels

Cannaregio is the most "Venetian" of the six city's neighborhoods since a third part of the local population lives here. The area's name comes from the swamp and the reeds (canne) that grew there. The neighborhood is not very popular among tourists, except for the train station and two busy streets in the southern part. There are few visitors here, as most travelers hurry to San Marco right from the train. If you want to feel the authentic vibe of Venice paired with much cheaper lodgings, Cannaregio Venice hotels will allow you to get great value for money to explore the city.
